Previously dressed up by a J. crew Cardigan in 2009, Mrs. Michelle Obama is to be commended for having the courage to be seen twice in the same dress, even though she doesn’t have to! I know people will praise her for her modesty while other will say its a smart move due the political culture. Surely, politicians have been urged to do away with the lavish lifestand in order to better identify with the American public. Nobody does it better hat the FLOTUS! Whatever the reason for this practice, it’s human, helps us to relate to her and she looks gooooood!

Oprah Bought J. Crew Stock Because of Michelle Obama

ESSENCE.com: No stranger to wise financial investments, Oprah is putting her money towards one of her good friend Michelle Obama’s favorite brands, J. Crew. During yesterday’s “Dream Job” episode, WWD reports, Oprah told J. Crew’s Creative Director Jenna Lyons that she became an investor after seeing the First Lady decked out in a J. Crew cardigan, sweater and skirt on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno back in October 2008. “The very first time I saw the First Lady, even before she became the First Lady, wearing J. Crew, I went and bought some J.Crew stock,” Oprah said. “And it was a very good decision.” We can only imagine–J. Crew’s affordable, chic separates have been flying off the shelves ever since Mrs. Obama began wearing them so well!
