I love studying advertisements. On the very first page of the April 2012 issue of the Architectural Digest, there is an ad for a Ritz Carlton Visa card. The tag line reads, “We may not always be your final destination, but we can still be your connection to it all.”
Although this slogan relates to a credit card, it’s reminded me of each professional and personal experience we have, They are not meant to last forever. They are vehicles that take us from one destination to another. They keep us connected to our passion and purpose, whether that be direct or indirect.
Every experience is like the Ritz Carlton Visa, my friends, It’s your connection to what is “beyond.” A few scriptures as food for thought:
Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin… – Zechariah 4:10
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.- Jeremiah 29:11
